The 60ways cast wishes all its readers a very merry Christmas. Posting will be delayed until next week. Go drink some eggnog instead!
After having only done 60 Ways To Leave Your Mother (Alone) for a few months, I’m beginning to better appreciate Kolchalka’s commitment to the medium. Congratulations to American Elf, a daily webcomic updated every day for 10 years running.
So instead of my regular comic, I offer––without comment––my take on the American Elf strip from April 10th, 2005.
I’m feeling kind of crazy this afternoon, so I’m offering this old drawing to the first person who emails me, asking for it. No strings attached! This old thing was a sketch where I tried to work out the “look” of the comic and I was going to toss it, but why? You can have it.
There is a method to my madness, however. I want to reward you loyal subscribers out there who visit often. Earlybird gets the worm:
UPDATE: 11/10/08: Már Örlygsson of Iceland agreed to let me send him this drawing. Thanks for reading, Már. To all those who didn’t “win” this time, keep reading…
Hey, I’ve got this little sketch I’m ready to send to the THIRD email I receive with name, address and favorite book of all time. I mean, not the actual book…the title.

UPDATE:
We have a WINNAH!! Chris from Tuscon, AZ–a big fan of Heller’s Catch 22–gets the sketch of a negotiating Roxanne. Thanks for reading, Chris.
Sorry about those junk twits. I’m still trying to figure out the feed from the webcomic.
